Peru could be a very accessible destination, our AP program is an opportunity for travelers from all over the world, to have an affordable traveling, experience around one of the most important countries in Latin America. Twelve days, eleven nights, four destinations, wonderful landscapes, amazing people, the best gastronomy and cultural immersion.
Itineario
Upon arrival, our company staff will be waiting for you at the Lima airport and will then take you to the district of Miraflores, where the hotel is located.

Founded in 1535 by Spanish conquistador Francisco Pizarro, Lima became the most important city in Spanish South America. As the capital of the Viceroyalty of Peru, it flourished with grand colonial architecture, baroque churches, and stately mansions. Today, the Historic Centre of Lima, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
This is a four-hour tour during which you’ll visit the San Francisco Monastery, Lima’s Cathedral, and take a walk through the historic center of Lima. After that, we’ll head to the airport to catch a domestic flight to the city of Cusco, where we’ll spend our second night.
Upon your arrival in Cusco, our staff will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your selected hotel. The rest of the afternoon is free.

The Sacred Valley is considered one of the most important tourist destinations, offering cultural, scenic, and archaeological richness that you definitely shouldn’t miss.
We’ll begin our visit at the archaeological center of Pisaq, where we’ll not only admire the Inca constructions but also gain a deeper understanding of the area’s agricultural wealth. After two hours tour, we’ll continue on to Urubamba—the gastronomic capital of the Sacred Valley—for lunch, before making our way to Ollantaytambo. There, you’ll explore both the archaeological site and the town itself, renowned as one of the last “living” villages preserving Inca traditions and architecture.
Finally, we’ll transfer to our hotel in the Sacred Valley, where we’ll spend our third night.

The big day has arrived—it’s time to visit one of the Seven Wonders.
Early in the morning, we’ll transfer to the Ollantaytambo train station, where we’ll board the train bound for the village of Machu Picchu (also known as Aguas Calientes). After a short rest there, we’ll continue with a 25‑minute bus ride before finally arriving at the world wonder, the famous Machu Picchu. We’ll spend two hours exploring with our expert guide, then begin our return journey to the Sacred Valley, where we’ll spend our fourth night.

After breakfast, we’ll continue our journey, this time returning to Cusco to tour the four most important archaeological sites on the city’s outskirts: Tambomachay—known as the Temple of Water; Qenqo—famous for its religious symbolism and the impressive rock formation in which it was carved; then we going to visit Sacsayhuamán, with its megalithic constructions and stunning setting.
We’ll then visit the Temple of Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun.
You’ll have the afternoon free for some shopping.

After breakfast, we’ll head to Cusco’s airport to board a domestic flight to Puerto Maldonado.
Upon your arrival in Puerto Maldonado, Peru’s capital of biodiversity, we will welcome you at the airport. Then, we’ll start our program by visiting the city on a bus. Then, we will go to Puerto Capitanía, the port where our riverboat will be waiting for us. We will sail across Rio Bajo Madre de Dios (Winding River) until arriving at our lodge, 30 km away from Puerto Maldonado City. On our way, you will be able to observe rural lands destined to agricultural and livestock activities near the city. If the weather is good, you will sight colorful plants like the large-flowered heliconias, and you will have the chance to observe diverse animals such as the capybaras, caimans, water turtles, herons, cormorants, carrion birds and birds of prey.
Upon the arrival to Eco Amazonia lodge, you will be welcomed with delicious Amazon tropical fruit nectars and taken to your comfortable room (bungalow) reserved for the occasion. Once you are settled in the room, a hearty lunch will be served for you in our warm, rustically designed dining room.
CAIMAN COCHA In the afternoon, our specialized guide will take you through an interpretive trail, conveniently signposted, to Caiman Cocha, a little lagoon where you will have the chance to observe the black caiman and the common caiman, as well as efficient predators located at the top of the food chain.
They feed on a rich water fauna—mainly represented by fish— that inhabits the pond. Back in the lodge, a delicious dinner will await you and you will have free time to share unforgettable moments at the bar, equipped with and excellent game room and all the drinks you can imagine.
The night fauna will lull you to sleep with the melody of a huge number of bird songs and calls.

The morning begins with the sound of beautiful birdsongs from the Amazon Paradise. A hearty breakfast will provide the energy for a morning full of new experiences. SANDOVAL LAKE: After an early breakfast, we will start a trip in the riverboat (about 1 h and 15 minutes). Arrival to the Sandoval Lake where you will begin a hiking excursion (90 minutes) through an exuberant flora of the tropical forest, following the perfectly demarcated path. During the route, you will see a wide range of wild fauna and flora and huge trees. Arrival to the lake you will enjoy a lovely boat ride and you will observe many species such as parrots, toucans, caimans, water turtles and maybe the giant otter (Pteronura brasiliensis) in its natural habitat. After the ride, back to the pier. The trip goes on in riverboat till the lodge where a lunch full of energy is waiting for you. MONKEY ISLAND: In the afternoon, accompanied by our specialized guide, you will visit Monkeys Island, situated a few minutes away from the hotel in the heart of Madre de Dios River. You will see an exuberant flora and a variety of monkey species such as the spider mokey, the capuchin, the squirrel monkey, the howler monkey and other animal species such as the coati, the sloth bear and a great variety of birds. Finally, you will complete the visit of the island enjoying the sunset. Back to the lodge you conclude the day with a farewell dinner.

After a good night´s sleep, the howler monkey’s cry make you realize that you are still in its territory and the moment to go back has come. Breakfast before going back to Puerto Maldonado.
Once we arrive in Puerto Maldonado, we’ll be driven to the airport to board our flight to Cusco.
Our team will be waiting for you in Cusco to take you to the hotel where you’ll spend the night. The rest of the day will be free.

It will be a long day. After breakfast, we’ll be picked up at the hotel to begin a bus journey to Puno—a seven‑hour trip during which we’ll stop at Andahuaylillas, known as the Sixteenth‑Century Chapel and famous for its stunning frescoes and murals. Next, we’ll visit Raqchi, an Inca site renowned for its food storehouses built within its walls.
We’ll enjoy lunch in the town of Sicuani, then continue on to arrive in Puno at around 5:00 p.m.
Our staff will be waiting for you upon your arrival in Puno to transfer you to your selected hotel.

Today, we’ll visit the world’s highest navigable lake, Lake Titicaca. We’ll head to the port in Puno to board our boat, then explore the floating islands of Uros and the island of Amantani, where we’ll enjoy a traditional lunch with one of the local families. Finally, we’ll return to Puno for the night.

We’re reaching the end of this amazing journey. After breakfast, we’ll take a bus to Juliaca airport—about an hour’s drive—where we’ll board our flight back to Lima. Once in Lima, our team will be waiting to take us to Miraflores, where we’ll spend the final night of the trip.
This is our last day in Peru, and we have the chance to enjoy a truly spectacular culinary and cultural experience at DANZA—a delicious dinner paired with an impressive show of traditional Peruvian dances and stories.
