In the afternoon, you going to begin your journey with a guided visit to Qoricancha or Sun Temple, the most important temple in the Inca Empire, renowned for its magnificent stonework and fascinating history blending Inca and colonial cultures, we going to board our bus and start with a guided visit to the impressive fortress of Sacsayhuamán, known for its enormous cyclopean stone walls and its strategic location overlooking the city of Cusco, continue to Qenqo, a ceremonial site featuring carved stone altars and labyrinthine underground passages, believed to have been used for religious rituals. Conclude the tour at Tambomachay, also known as the “Bath of the Inca,” celebrated for its finely crafted aqueducts, canals, and waterfalls, symbolizing the importance of water in Inca culture.

Early morning pick-up from your hotel for a scenic drive towards the Sacred Valley, following the course of the Urubamba River and surrounded by majestic Andean landscapes. Begin your exploration at Pisac, visiting its impressive Inca archaeological site perched on a hillside, offering panoramic views of the valley. Afterwards, enjoy a brief visit to the colorful Pisac market, famous for its traditional crafts and local products.

Continue towards Urubamba, the heart of the Sacred Valley, where you will enjoy a delicious buffet lunch at a local restaurant, featuring a selection of Peruvian and international dishes.

After lunch, visit the remarkable fortress of Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inca military, religious, and agricultural center, notable for its monumental terraces and well-preserved town layout.  Overnight in the Sacred Valley.

This day is combining river rafting experience, jungle landscapes, and your choice of an unforgettable afternoon activity.

At 6:00 a.m. after you finish your breakfast, our expert tour guide is going to Pick-Up to start your journey to the route offers breathtaking landscapes and encounters with local culture and nature along the way, we going to arrive to Abra Málaga Pass (4,316 m / 14,160 ft)

From this high mountain pass, descend into the lush high jungle, passing through fruit fields, small villages, and winding rivers.

On route, we going to stop by one of the villages for a Coffee Experience. To learn about traditional cultivation, harvesting, and roasting techniques—ending with a fresh cup.

At around 1:30 p.m. we going to arrive to the Lodge in La Convención Valley, a delicious lunch awaits at our eco-lodge. Afterward, relax and get settled in your room.

Afternoon activities.

At around 3:00 p.m. we going to have a River Rafting experience, Paddle through jungle rapids for a dose of adrenaline and scenic views.

The rest of the afternoon is yours to enjoy the Ecolodge and take in the stunning scenery of the high jungle.

After enjoying a delicious traditional jungle breakfast, we’ll begin our day with a 40-minute drive to the starting point of our hike.

As we walk through the region, you’ll be surrounded by native forest, lush plantations of coffee and cacao, and a wide variety of tropical fruits—especially citrus. Along the trail, we’ll observe local flora and fauna, and visit an archaeological site known as “Inca Cárcel” (“The Inca Prison”), evidence of Inca presence in this region of the high jungle. This is a four hours hike.

After a traditional lunch, we’ll head to the Santa Teresa hot springs, known for their therapeutic and healing properties. You’ll have time to relax and enjoy these warm natural waters.

Later, we’ll continue by bus for about 20 minutes to the town of Santa Teresa, where we’ll spend the second night in a local guesthouse.

After breakfast, you’ll have the opportunity to experience canopy—a thrilling zipline activity that offers panoramic views of the high jungle and an unforgettable dose of adrenaline. Once the canopy experience concludes, we’ll begin a picturesque hike toward Llaqtapata, an Inca archaeological site that also serves as a natural viewpoint overlooking the mountains surrounding Machu Picchu.

From there, we’ll continue our descent to the small village known as Hidroeléctrica, where we’ll have lunch. After a short rest, we’ll follow the railway tracks on foot through a lush tropical setting until we reach Machu Picchu Pueblo, popularly known as Aguas Calientes—the gateway to Machu Picchu; Here, we’ll spend the night and prepare for our visit to the Wonder of the World the following day.

(Optional: Ask about the possibility of taking a 25 minutes train from Hidroeléctrica to Machu Picchu Pueblo instead of walking.)

The big day has arrived—it’s time to visit one of the Seven Wonders.

Early in the morning, we’ll take a bus from the town to the Archeological site of Machu Picchu, The famous Machu Picchu. We’ll spend two hours exploring with our expert guide, then begin our return journey by train to Ollantaytambo, where our driver is going to contact you and take you back to Cusco.
